| Shore Thing Boat Overview: Kimberley Catamaran Cruises operate Shore Thing, a fully
air-conditioned vessel that has been designed
specifically to explore the waterways of the Kimberley
Coast.
The eight berth 51 foot Catamaran is the ultimate
cruising vessel for this remarkable Kimberley landscape
and, powered by both engine and sail, allows for a real
appreciation of nature at its best.
Launched in 2004 by Broome building family Bud and
Sue Watts, it boasts all modern conveniences with
accommodation for 8 passengers in two staterooms
with king sized beds and private en-suites, along with
two Deluxe Rooms being double beds with shared
facilities.
The Staterooms can be converted into two
single beds. Shore Thing specialises in small group
expeditions or individuals and couples looking for
personalised cruises.
Cruises operate between March and October and we
also offer Rowley Shoals Snorkel/Dive Charters in
October and Fishing Charters during the Wet Season.
Some of the iconic areas you may visit on each cruise
include the Buccaneer Archipelago and its 1000 islands,
the stunning Hunter River and its unbelievable rock
formations, the Prince Regent River and King's Cascades
as well as many unknown bays and inlets, where land
excursions reveal some incredible discoveries.
Apart from its fascinating history the Kimberley region also has the most
amazing range of birds, flora, marine life and crocodiles in their natural
habitat.
Depending on the time of year you may get to witness migrating
humpback whales as well as rare bird species. Imagine catching fresh
seafood feasts and enjoying them in decadence, as you sail along.
With a catamaran our guests also get the
unique experience of traveling through
some of Western Australia's most
stunning scenery without any of the noise
usually associated with a boat.
A big part of the experience is the feeling of
being totally at one with the surrounding nature. |
