| Sofala Boat Overview: FunSail is a Yachting Australia endorsed training centre. We offer quality sail training for everyone from beginners to those wishing to attain their YachtMaster Certificate. Our sail training is delivered in a flexible manner to suit your requirements.
If you would like to try sailing without a long term commitment then try our 'Taste of Sailing' 3 hour course which is available from as little as $99. A Taste of Sailing comprises the first 3 hours of Yachting Australia's Introductory Certificate Course. You can then complete the course and receive a certificate by signing up for a further 5 hours of sail training.
You might then choose to progress to our Competent Crew Course. Having achieved the Competent Crew Certificate you can then undertake the shore based Coastal Navigation course followed by the Inshore Skipper Course and the Coastal Skipper course.
The next step is to sign up for our YachtMaster course.
All of these courses can be delivered during day sails from Mooloolaba. However, we find that most students like the idea of our sailing adventure trips which are now becoming a very popular means of delivering sail training. You can sail with us to beautiful anchorages along the Coral Coast which can only be accessed by boats, living on board our beautiful and traditional sail training vessel 'Sofala'.
